Yes, you may turn TEST MODE off under
SETUP/ACCOUNTCONFIG/CREDITCARDS/STEP6
and continue to use the optional test card number listed there.
Note: Transactions using the test card number will always be performed
in Test Mode, even when Test Mode is not activated.
Note: The Optional Test Card Number you enter must be valid credit card number according to the Mod-10 Checksum Method. For example, 4444333322221111 and 4111111111111111 both pass the Mod 10 Checksum. If you put in a number that does not pass the checksum, the gateway will automatically modify the number you enter to make it pass the checksum. So after hit apply, go back and see if the number has changed from what you entered.
Note: For maximum security, after you are finished developing, integrating, and testing your software, it is recommmended that you remove the Optional Test Card number so that customers are unable to enter that number and receive a test authorization.
